Every piece is handcrafted to order. Lead times vary depending on the scale and complexity of the design. Some projects may be completed in a matter of weeks, while others may require several months to ensure the highest standard of craftsmanship. When you commission a piece, I will provide an estimated completion window based on your project. This estimate is not a guarantee but a projection to help you plan.
Shipping & Delivery
Standard delivery is arranged through trusted carriers, depending on the size of the piece and your location.
Shipping is free to the customer unless stated otherwise.
In the rare event of shipping damage, I will work with you to resolve the issue, whether through repair, replacement, or insurance claims.
Custom Nature
Because each piece is unique and built specifically for you, I cannot accept returns or cancellations once work has begun.
Refunds & Cancellations Policy

Each piece I create is handcrafted to your specifications and made-to-order. Because of this, I cannot accept returns or cancellations once work has begun.
Deposits
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your commission. This deposit covers the cost of design work and the initial investment of materials. The deposit will be applied toward your final balance.
Refund Considerations
While refunds are generally not possible due to the custom nature of my work, I want you to feel secure in your investment. If unforeseen circumstances arise, I may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis before significant work has been completed. These are at my discretion and depend on the stage of the project.
Craftsmanship Guarantee
If your piece arrives damaged or with a craftsmanship issue, I will work with you personally to make it right. This may include repair, replacement, or an insurance claim through the shipping provider.
Natural Materials
Please note that variations in grain, color, and figure are inherent to solid wood and are part of the beauty of handcrafted furniture. These natural variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for refund or replacement.

Welcome to Flowing Water Woodworking. By placing an order through my website or directly with me, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and trust between us.
1. Custom Work & Natural Materials
Every piece is handcrafted to order.
Natural variations in wood grain, color, tone, and figure are expected and celebrated as part of the uniqueness of your furniture.
These natural features are not considered defects.
2. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission. This deposit covers design work and material sourcing and will be applied toward the final balance.
The remaining balance is due prior to shipping or delivery.
3. Lead Times
All quoted timelines are good-faith estimates.
Because each piece is handcrafted, completion times may vary.
Delays do not entitle the buyer to cancellation or refund once work has begun.
4. Shipping & Delivery
The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping and delivery information.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer once the carrier accepts the piece.
I will assist with any applicable insurance claims if shipping damage occurs.
5. Returns & Cancellations
Due to the custom nature of my work, I cannot accept returns or cancellations once work has started.
Refunds are generally not possible but may be considered on a case-by-case basis before significant work has begun, at my sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, text, and other content on this website are the property of Flowing Water Woodworking unless otherwise noted.
Customers may not reproduce, resell, or claim ownership of my designs.

Flowing Water Woodworking shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of purchased products, including but not limited to property damage, injury, or financial loss.
Liability is limited to the value of the purchased item.
